Wow, a Kiddie-Meal Delivery Service for Days When You're Too Tired! This food delivery service will come in handy when you're out of ideas for toddler meals.by Rachel Perez .
The fast-paced life of today has changed family lifestyles that we all dream of the day that we can have people to run our errands, pamper us in our home, and cook family meals without worrying if it's healthy for our picky eating toddlers.
Not having the time to prepare healthy meals for their little ones was what Mich L. Roque had in mind when she put up a food delivery service that caters to kids ages 1 and older. She calls it Bibbly, and it was born out of the circumstances she found herself in.
"I'm a working mom, and I was constantly beating myself up for feeding my toddler so-called 'convenience' foods and fast food," Mich tells SmartParenting.com.ph. "It had reached a point where my toddler had become so picky with her food. Some days she eats what I serve like a champ, others she will eat a bowl of cereal, and that’s it."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Food delivery service for toddlers and up
Many moms find it challenging to find nutritious options their child will actually eat, let alone trying to keep a consistent mealtime routine. Most of them will perhaps describe their kids as picky eaters, and they are afraid their child is not just eating right but may not be eating enough! Many of them end up resorting to off-the-shelves supermarket snacks, often with a lot of sugar and empty calories, and fast food. Besides, not all moms have the time and skill to make meals from scratch (they shouldn't be judged for it).
Mich, who has a 3-year-old daughter, Marley, found out that many moms have the struggles above. She happily took on the challenge to help them make healthy eating for their tots a more attainable goal, thanks to business-minded friends who believed and invested in her idea.
"Basically, what we've done is we’ve gone ahead and prepared nutritious recipes and yummy food for you. So you don’t have to spend precious time in the kitchen or worry about baon fillers, snacks, or meals on those days when you’re slowly going nuts," Mich explained "It’s also actually great for sharing with the whole family!" she added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Bibbly offers food that's already familiar to toddlers and school-age kids, such as muffins and spaghetti. Mich assures parents there is at least one hidden vegetable in their dishes. They do use a bit of salt, which is why Mich said their meals were not ideal for babies.

Currently, they have three initial offerings: Tuna Nuggies (crispy bites of meat and veggie deliciousness), Merry-nara (with six healthy veggies blended into a smooth red sauce for pasta or pizza), and Zuchos (chocolate muffins with fresh zucchini). These recipes were developed by Mich and approved by a chef.
"What kid doesn’t love chocolate, or connects with crunchy nuggets, or instantly recognizes pasta with red sauce?" she quipped.
"All moms of picky eaters know that there’s no magic food that their kids will eat all the time, but the best we can do is keep trying," Mich says, adding she will definitely make good on Bibbly's promise to deliver delicious and healthy food options.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
You're still in control of what your child eats
Unlike diet food delivery services for adults, Bibly is not packaged like a daily set of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack. The food is portioned based on what two kids could eat in a week. It's easy to prep and is versatile enough to be served in different ways, so you, as parents, remain in control of what your child is eating.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

The food is delivered chilled and should remain so until you're ready to cook, heat, and serve. Each order comes with instructions on storage and preparation. "For example, Nuggies need to be pan-fried while the Merry-nara would do well heated gently on the stovetop. Our tip? Dip the Nuggies in the Merry-nara. It’s definitely something we do." Mich shared.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Mich and a small team of helpers prepare the food from scratch under strict sanitary protocols. Bibbly has an in-house once-a-week delivery system to ensure freshness and quality. Mich says they don't use preservatives or anything processed.
"We’re hoping moms and dads find Bibbly to be a great tool in their meal-planning arsenal," Mich said and added she welcomes feedback. "We know feeding our kids is a very personal thing for a lot of parents, especially moms, so we want them to be a part of our process, too."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Our ultimate goal is always to provide healthier, lutong-bahay recipes of kids’ favorites, so moms, dads, or their yayas, don’t have to stress about it themselves."
