Summer Classes for the Hyper Toddler

Toddlers love exploring their world, and have endless energy to spend on countless activities. At this age, toddlers, who have began taking their first steps on their own, are looking into how else they can exercise their independence. All toys and activities are new to them, and they will experiment with everything, sometimes using all their five senses.  

At this stage as well, toddlers love being with other kids their age. While putting a group of toddlers together will still end up with them playing on their own but just in the same area, they benefit from being around each other, and you might still see some interaction going on between playmates. If you’re looking into that happening, and you want to direct their energy into something a bit more productive, here are a few classes that might help in ther overall development:

What to Expect: Explorations is a progressive preschool, and their yearly summer offerings include something for every child. What to expect: Have your little ones explore the wild! They will be explore wildlife, learn about the different animals and plants in this fun take of a day care program! It’s essentially a program that will help your child prepare for preschool!

Tahanan by The Learning Lodge 
For ages: 2 – 5 years old 
What to Expect: While most schools’ preferred language is English, Tahanan classes are conducted using Filipino. Using the Reggio Emilia approach (a popular approach used by progressive schools), each class will have child-centered activities, using natural materials that are familiar to the children.
