When Jolina Magdangal's daughter Vika Anaya turned 3 years old last May 28, 2021, the actress/singer/TV host took to Instagram to greet the litte girl and declare that she's been breastfeeding for three years, too.
Jolina said in the caption, "Happy 3 years old to my little girl and Happy 3rd Anniversary to my breastfeeding journey. 3 years and counting. Sa lahat ng mga breastfeeding nanay... Mabuhay ang mga dede natin!!!!"
The Magandang Buhay host has been a breastfeeding advocate even before she and husband Mark Escueta got married in 2011 and became parents with the birth of their first child Pele Inigo in 2014.
Back in 2019, Jolina told SmartParenting.com.ph in an interview that she got inspired by her former Unang Hirit colleagues Lyn Ching and Suzi Entrata, who breastfed their babies on the set. Later on, when Jolina herself was a breastfeeding mom, she started encouraging new moms (read here).

Jolina said in the caption: "2nd dose done! Salamat sa mga nag-assist sa amin sa Batasan Hills National Highschool. Sa lahat ng may vaccine na, ingat pa rin at stay safe. Sa mga wala pa sana maayos na kayo ay makapagpa vaccine.
When asked by a commenter, Jolina said she’s under the A3 category but didn’t elaborate. Health officials and experts have said that the COVID-19 vaccine is safe and advisable for breastfeeding moms and pregnant women. (Read the explanation here).
