She kicks off her morning with what she calls a “regular power pump,” usually producing around 100 to 120 milliliters. “This is regular power pump for me in the morning, usually around 100 to 120 ml. But today we got 100 because I realized I didn't really eat a lot yesterday,” Megan says in the video.

But by midday and later, the amount drops. “Usually, mga 30 to 60 ‘yung regular pump ko in the day,” she reveals in the next clip. This variation is common among breastfeeding moms, as milk supply peaks in the morning due to natural hormonal rhythms and dips throughout the day.

In her caption, Megan got honest about the early days. “Started from 10ml a pump and now we’re here,” she wrote. She admitted it was frustrating at first and even brought her to tears. “It was so frustrating in the beginning and honestly I cried the first time I had to pump my milk because I felt so much pressure to provide food for Leon.”

Like many new moms, Megan leaned on her support system. “Since I didn’t have a lot of milk initially, I’m so thankful for all our friends and co-mommas that donated milk to our little one in the beginning,” she said. Those donations helped a lot while she worked on building up her supply.

She also tried just about everything to increase her milk production. “From taking anything with malunggay to downing clam broth, to eating oats and just doing anything and everything they said would increase my supply,” Megan shared. Even with all that, she realized her body had its own rhythm.

“But alas, we’re all different and this just happens to be my journey,” she wrote. “I’m happy and proud with what I’m able to provide for my little one. Fighting.”
