9 Ways to Try Getting Your Baby to Kick and Punch While in the Womb!

    1. Have a snack.

    A lot of moms suggested eating something to make their baby shift positions. Opt for healthy snacks such as cheese and crackers, peanut butter toast, Greek yogurt, fruits like banana and apple, and nuts. It’s the surge in your blood sugar levels after having a snack that gets your baby to kick.

    “My baby usually moves after eating, especially if I eat something that I crave,” one mom shared. At least three other moms swore that eating chocolate got their baby moving (eat in moderation).

    2. Drink something cold.

    It could be just water or fresh juice, but as long as it’s cold, it really works for many moms. Babies respond to temperature, whether it’s refreshment going down your digestive tract or an ice pack placed on your bump.

    3. Gently poke or jiggle your belly.

    Some babies move even with the slightest touch, while other babies need more than feeling your hands caressing your tummy.     5. Take a bath!

When you’re in your third trimester and your little one’s moving space is already a bit snug, you could start seeing your baby’s feet protruding on your belly!

    Based on research, doctors also advise pregnant women to sleep on their side (preferably on their left side) to promote proper blood flow to your placenta and your baby in your womb. Not feeling your baby move at any point during the pregnancy can be a cause for concern. Alert your doctor right away and head to the hospital, where doctors can conduct an ultrasound or a non-stress test (NST) to confirm that the baby is well, or check for any red flags and ensure you and your baby’s health moving forward.
