Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano are having a baby!
The couple announced their pregnancy on a vlog posted on Jessy's YouTube channel today, August 11.
In the video shot in a beautiful chapel in Benguet, they recreated their wedding and even said each other's vows.
Luis said, "I get to be a better person in all aspects [of my life] because of her influence sa buhay ko and looking down the road, parang ang sarap makita kung paano din siya bilang isang mommy."
Jessy said, "Ang dami kong memorable moments with you but this one siguro this is the best."
"I promise to be the best husband, partner, bestfriend, and father I can be," said Luis.
The couple wrote on their vlog's description box, "What a pleasant surprise! We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner. No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best."
Earlier, Jessy and Luis posted a photo teaser on Instagram, with the same caption, "A new chapter."
Netizens and their celebrity friends already celebrate in the comment section, taking notice of Jessy's baby bump.
They said their planned church wedding would have to wait, until their baby arrives. "This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives," they said.
The two got married on February 21 last year in an intimate ceremony, but only announced it in April. Luis gave Jessy a diamond ring to celebrate their first anniversary early this year.
"To our supporters, thank you for being with us since day one. Join us as we enter this new journey in our lives as parents."
