    Coleen Garcia's pregnancy essentials

We asked the preggo mama about her pregnancy essentials or anything that helped her manage her pregnancy discomforts. Coleen is one of the lucky women who is having a relatively easy pregnancy. Aside from enjoying the journey and staying away from stress, here are her top three pregnancy must-haves:

    1. Maternity pillow

"I've been sleeping comfortably for the first two trimesters. But now it's a lot harder to sleep, especially when the baby kicks so much in the middle of the night," Coleen shared. "It's been very helpful to have that pillow with me," she swears.

    2. Mama Natural pregnancy book

Coleen read What To Expect When You're Expecting by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel but admits she likes The Mama Natural Week-by-Week Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth Book by Genevieve Howland more. "I really love Mama Natural. It's my favorite pregnancy book. It was very encouraging and very informative," Collen shared.

    3. Oats

"One thing that I've been having a lot of food-wise naman are oats. So oats, nuts, and seeds," she shares. "It's really good not just for pregnancy, but also for breastfeeding. So right now, I've been loading up not just good pregnancy food, but also good lactation food as well," she shares.

Coleen is also taking classes that tackle caring for baby and breastfeeding. "You might know what to do instinctively, but it's still important to be prepared. So that you don't just have instincts, you're backed up with facts, and you're backed up with just a whole lot of knowledge,' she explained.

The first-time mama is determined to breastfeed and is getting ready to wake up several times in the middle of the night to feed. Billy, she says, will be changing a lot of diapers.
