  • One of the things first-time moms dread about childbirth is the pain—they don't know what to expect, after all. This is why celebrity mom Pauleen Luna, who gave birth to daughter Talitha Maria exactly one year ago today, November 6, considers her painless delivery an answered prayer.

Pauleen looks back to the hours leading to Tali's birth, which she didn't expect would happen so soon, at only her 35th week of pregnancy.

"Ruby [Rodriguez] brought me to this church called Sabsaban in Carmona, Cavite. She said it was miraculous, and it only opens once a month. The mass was three hours long, and it was in Latin. Meron ka lang booklet para maintindihan mo. We were there, I prayed for an easy, fast, and painless delivery.

"The next day, I gave birth. It was really painless, fast, and easy!"

Even when the doctor had to push baby Tali back in because she was trying to come out when Pauleen was only 1 cm dilated, the first-time mom says she didn't feel any pain. "That was a solid 8 minutes na I was just shaking. But I had no pain the whole time. My body was shaking but I didn't feel any pain," she recalls.
