This Amazing Woman Did Her Full Makeup While In Labor

New York-based makeup artist Alaha Majid documented how she did a full face of makeup while in labor. And, no, it wasn't a lip-balm-and-face-powder situation. We mean makeup with contouring that's ready for a magazine photo shoot kind, done in the between her contractions.

The caption reads: “Three weeks ago at this time I was finishing up my makeup and getting ready for my princess to make her appearance. Yes, I was doing my makeup while I was in labor! I was pausing during contractions and picking up where I left off once the contractions passed. I only packed some of my favorite products in my hospital bag...” She even enumerated all the products she had used that day. Including brushes, contour kits, liquid lipsticks, and even false lashes!

All her hard work—in all ways!—paid off, as she was able to snap this truly beautiful moment with her daughter in her arms for the first time, and her makeup was flawless:
