There is a lot of pressure on moms today to come out of the house with an #OOTD-worthy look. We know moms who are scared to be seen as "frumpy," so they put in a lot of effort to look "presentable," as they like to say. And we love that as long as it doesn't become an anxiety-ridden process.
Moms Chal Lontoc-del Rosario, 33, and Czarina Ledesma, 32, know this dilemma all too well. Both busy entrepreneurs with young kids (Chal has two kids, ages 9 and 2, and Czar has a 3-year-old son), looking presentable is a must when dealing with clients, but comfort is also one of their priorities because they are always on the go. They are also game to do anything we ask them. What other parents are reading
We had challenged Chal and Czarina to create outfits based on three scenarios — a casual meetup with friends, going from day to night, and a cocktail meeting with the boss. Mind you, they are not stylists, but we love their style and the fact that they can laugh at themselves (if only we can show you their outtakes). And with their dose of humor ("guess who is 'class' and 'crass'"), these two moms show us how they would update their everyday outfits based on the scenarios above. Think of this video as a back-to-basics guide that will inspire you build on with your wardrobe (without spending a lot of money).
