Going back to your pre-pregnancy body is a struggle all moms deal with and to be honest — it's perfectly okay. How to pick the right size
When it comes to shapewear, the most important thing is to stick to your size. Some think that going one size down — buying a 'small' when you're really a 'medium' — will provide extra firmness. But it will only cause unwanted bulges and leave you feeling uncomfortable. Try a shapewear in the fitting room (with underwear on) and sit and walk around to see if you've found the right fit.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Go for a high waist.
Because shapewear squeezes your body, the skin often piles up on top. A high waist guarantee a smooth line all the way up your torso, according to Bustle. When in doubt, look for a body-suit for all-over shaping.
Look for cotton fabrics.
Shapewear is commonly made of nylon and spandex, so some women have complained that their shapewear becomes too "hot" when worn for too long. If you want something more breathable, opt for those that have a blend of cotton for added comfort.
