How To Pull Off A Dog-Themed Children's Party Like Scarlett Kramer

Doug and Chesca Kramer’s middle child Scarlett is 8 years old!

Born on November 28, 2011, Scarlett Louvelle celebrated her 8th birthday with a dog-themed birthday party at their new home last Saturday. The Kramers, including Scarlett’s siblings Kendra and Gavin, all love dogs so much (they just added another member to their fur family last month: a rare teacup poodle they named Coco) that they decided to go with this theme.

Based on photos posted by Doug and Chesca, their spacious lawn at home served as the party venue. Low tables and luxe pink pillows that functioned as floor seats set the mood for a casual and fun afternoon. The long tables had colorful placemats and puppy plushies as the centerpiece.

The rest of the space was decorated by event stylist GP The Storyteller with balloons, paw prints, and pink dog houses that were filled with toys. 

Scarlett’s pink, white, and beige two-tiered cake from Red Ribbon had sugar candies in the shape of poodles as toppers.

The guests were treated to hours of fun, including plush-making, face painting, and face gems. The kids got adopt-a-plush toys for giveaways, and for their pets, doggie treats, clothes, and accessories from Petto Tomodachi! Madison Events provided the entertainment for the party.

 

 

 

 

Chesca proudly said in her Instagram Stories that Scarlett’s birthday party was successfully planned and executed by Doug with the help of event planner GP The Storyteller. “I had no hand in this whatsoever! Ang galing!” she wrote. 

 

 

On the day of her birthday, Scarlett’s parents shared special messages on social media to express their love for their little girl.

“You’re special, unique, and really one of a kind... All those who know you can attest to that. You’re sweet, hardworking, and wise beyond your years, a deep thinker, a talented writer, creative in every way. You’re so much, so much more than you know! My animal lover, gentle care-giver, and I can go on and on about you!” wrote Chesca as caption for a series of photos from Scarlett’s birth to present.

Part of Doug’s greeting reads “If there’s one quality that you and I share Scarlett, it’s that we love to serve others.

“Chores are never a task for you, you’re never afraid to get dirty, hard work comes easy because you almost never complain, your love/friendship you only share to very few. You may look like mama, but we are so alike in so many ways!”
