Team Kramer's Mansion Has a Room for a New Baby! (They're Claiming It!)Here's the home tour we've been waiting for!by Rachel Perez .
Doug and Chesca Kramer have shared on social media a glimpse of what they call their “forever” home, which left us wanting to see more. Now, finally, we get a room-by-room tour of Team Kramer’s new four-story mansion.
They’ve already shared photos of the kids’ playroom complete with ball pit and a slide, a bahay-bahayan area under the stairs, the swimming pool and outdoor barbecue grill area that has an excellent view, a homeschooling classroom for the kids, and Team Kramer Theater that Doug designed himself. We’ve had glimpses of the kids’ room, but the home tour showed us so much more.
The first half of Team Kramer House Tour video features a walkthrough and the family saying a final farewell to their previous home. Doug and Chesca pointed out that they first rented a condo when they had Kendra, then moved into a townhouse when they had Scarlett, and moved into their first house when they had Gavin.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
In their new house, they didn’t welcome a new baby, but they did reserve a space for one – yes, they’re claiming it! The couple didn’t show the room in their house tour video since it’s not fixed yet, but they’ve been vocal about trying for another baby via in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Doug and Chesca designed their home with family and friends in mind as they love having company over. They also considered their helper’s space. “Our helpers only have one room in the previous house,” Doug said. “Siksikan sila,” Chesca said about their helpers’ sleeping situation in their previous home.
“They all have their own rooms this time around,” Doug shared. Four rooms for their helpers, to be exact. “We also wanted to make sure na meron silang lounge area where they can eat, sit, and then watch their favorite shows, so they also have cable in their TV,” Chesca added.CONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
Another latest addition that didn’t make it in their house tour video is the kids’ outdoor playset. “We wanted to make sure the kids would enjoy the outdoors more!” Doug wrote on Instagram. Apart from Gavin’s basketball court, he originally wanted to put up a treehouse, but it didn’t work out for some “unforeseen circumstances.”
He found a ready-made playhouse and swing set that’s outdoor-friendly, sturdy, and can even hold Doug’s weight! It’s also perfect for the area they initially reserved for the treehouse. “So happy because the kids have been nonstop playing! Now they have the option to play indoors and outdoors while enjoying the view!” the dad of three added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
“Nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids enjoying their childhood. Sweaty, happy kids enjoying the outdoors just like when we were kids,” Chesca wrote on Instagram.
The house itself only has three colors, gray, black, and sustainable wood. They’ve also installed solar panels and a water filtration system. There’s a lot of open space for entertaining company, and a view that Doug said would make all the traffic on the way home worth it.
Team Kramer’s home is truly a collaboration between Doug and Chesca. They designed it, and furnished and decorated it themselves and filled it with their favorites. “This wasn’t a, ‘Here, do everything for us.’ This is a collaboration of Chesca and I,” Doug stressed.
Doug and Chesca’s “forever” home almost took two years in the making, but their journey from renting a condo unit to owning this massive, beautiful space is a product of hard work, sound investments and decision-making, and, of course, faith that God will provide.
“What makes a house a home is family, being together,” Doug said. “This house may be spacious, but it’s a home. It’s a home that we’ve built together, and we’re going to create a lot more memories that’s for sure. We’re very blessed to have this house, undeserved, that’s for sure,” he added.
