  • While Halloween is not an official holiday in the Philippines, the country has all but embraced the tradition, with most establishments offering trick or treat events that kids can enjoy. But while the day is meant for the young ones (who look forward to candy!), it seems that it’s their parents who go all out for this celebration.

18 Halloween trick or treat costume ideas for kids

From thinking of the theme, creating the costume, and taking dozens of photos of the outfit that they painstakingly DIY’d, parents deserve all the applause. Just look at the Halloween costumes they’ve shown us over the years — some even celebrate Halloween as a family!

For 2019, we didn’t even need to ask parents to send in their children’s Halloween costumes — they just sent it straight to our SmartParenting.com.ph Parent Chat and Facebook page inboxes! Here are the best ones we’ve seen so far, and it looks like the kids were all raring to yell, “Trick or Treat!”
