If you suddenly find yourself craving for samgyupsal, here’s where you can get your fix.by Kitty Elicay .

Korean BBQ buffets have become so popular over the years for the simple reason that Pinoys can’t resist unlimited grilled meat. But because of all the smoke coming from the grill coupled with a noisy crowd, it’s sometimes hard for parents to tag their kids along for a meal.
Luckily, we discovered Giyummy Korean Restaurant, a hidden gem along Marcos Highway in Pasig City. This kid-friendly restaurant is huge, occupying the entire second floor of a building, so even if the place gets full, you won’t feel suffocated. The booths are comfortable, too, so you won’t feel cramped if you’re eating with a big group.
What really impressed us was that it had its own mini play place where kids can preoccupy themselves while their parents are preparing the food (grilling meat takes time!) or when they’re already feeling full but their parents are still eating. There are small slides, a ball pit, and a couple of arcade games.

The walls are lined with TVs that play K-pop music videos non-stop, just in case you want to distract yourselves while you eat. They also have high chairs readily available if you want to bring your toddlers along. The servers are pretty attentive — they go around with a bus cart so they can quickly refill side dishes.
For Php499 per person, adults can enjoy unlimited meat — pork, beef, and chicken — plus side dishes or banchan, soup, and iced tea. They also use a special grill where you can cook egg, cheese, corn, and kimchi. Don’t expect to get thick cuts of pork or beef, however — like most Korean buffets, Giyummy only offers thinly-sliced beef or pork samgyupsal. They do offer flavored meats just in case you want to spice things up a bit.
Kids 5 to 8 years old get to dine at half the price (Php250), while children 1 to 4 years old get to eat for free. They also offer meals a la carte like rice toppings, bibimbap, pork cutlets, jjigae (stew) and ramyeon (noodles). If you’re unsure what to feed your young kids, you can try their kimbap — rice rolls filled with tuna, cheese, beef bulgogi, or mixed vegetables — or mandu, which are also Korean dumplings.

With everything they offer, we think the price is sulit!
Giyummy Korean Restaurant is located at the second floor of Acasys Building, Marcos Highway, Dela Paz, Quezon City. They also have a branch at Timog Avenue, Quezon City that is also open for 24 hours (but without the play place).
