Parents are eagerly counting down the days until the grand opening of the first-ever 'Frozen' themed land, 'World of Frozen,' at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on November 20. That's why it was a heartwarming surprise when actress and mother of one, Anne Curtis, shared a video of their family experiencing the theme park's newest features before anyone else.
From spending her third birthday at Tokyo Disneyland in March, Dahlia and her mom were back in Disneyland, and this time, they shared a glimpse of what awaits visitors when it's finally their turn!
"Welcome to the World of Frozen! A dream come true for Dahlia!" Anne wrote. "For the first time in forever, she got to meet her fave Frozen characters Elsa, Anna and of course, Olaf! Plus enjoy the fun-filled rides, yummy treats and food with her besties! Our little girls had a blast!!! Even I enjoyed everything as an adult."
If your child, like my four-year-old daughter, has long declared her love for the Frozen franchise, here are the moments from Anne's reel that made us both scream with excitement.
A first look at 'World of Frozen' by Anne Curtis and Dahlia
1. Getting warm hugs from Elsa and Anna
Meeting Elsa and Anna in person would mean the world to our Frozen-loving kids, with the added bonus of taking a photo in the iconic town of Arendelle. It's a dream come true for Dahlia, and I hope our kids can experience it too!
2. Shopping for Frozen merch
Did you notice the wide array of Frozen merchandise you can potentially add to your cart when you visit Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles?
From adorable plushies to replicas of the Ice Queen's jewelry, I'm sure there's a lot of exclusive merchandise that you won't find anywhere else, like this charming wooden clock.
3. Ahtohallan!
My daughter's eyes lit up when she saw a glimpse of Ahtohallan in Anne's reel, the ancient magical river of ice where Elsa ventured by herself in Frozen 2. It's going to be an amazing experience if we're correct!
4. Of course, the rides!
We spotted a ride called Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs, inspired by the Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna where Oaken works.
The look on Dahlia's face as she rode the roller coaster with her mom was priceless! Don't let go, Dahlia!
5. Sweet Frozen treats
After a magical day, ending it with a delightful meal and delicious desserts sounds like the perfect way to wrap up the experience.
Hong Kong Disneyland's World of Frozen is the world’s first and largest Frozen themed land, so we are taking Anne's cue to bring strollers when we visit with our little girls, for the first time in forever.
