PSA: There's a new exhibit and escape room at the The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.
Co-presented by Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. and the United States Agency for International Development, the new Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room aims to educate participants on the biodiversity crisis we're facing. It sounds interesting, given its unique concept.
What to Expect from the Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room
"There's a crisis that's been poisoning the domains of Land, Sea, and Air. It has imprisoned wildlife and continues to destroy their homes. If nothing is done, soon, all will be lost to both wildlife and humans," prefaced the Mind Museum on Facebook.
The announcement continued, "In partnership with USAID and RTI through SIBOL, The Mind Museum brings you a unique, interactive exhibit and one-of-a-kind escape room featuring different landscapes and unique puzzles! Invite your family and friends and also get the chance to work with new people to solve the crisis together!"
Participants will take on random roles during the activity and go through a series of puzzles to solve inside themed rooms. Each challenge connects to the concept of "Mga Sukat ng Kalikasan" and aims to teach lessons on biodiversity and the ongoing environmental crises.
The experience is designed to simulate authentic human conversations and actions involved in decision-making about our shared natural heritage. As shown in the event's teaser, the activities are child-friendly.
How much is the entrance fee to the Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room
Costing only P150 per head, the event's dry run has three dates: May 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26. It will be held at the Canopy Plaza in the Mind Museum.
