Satisfy Your Milk Tea, Coffee, and Yogurt Cravings At These 3 New Spots In The Metro

Moms can’t resist milk tea and coffee, but if they’re going out with the kids, we’re sure the tots will want one for themselves, too. Luckily, there are three new stores in the metro where the whole family can hang out and enjoy some yummy food and beverages. And yes, they have kid-friendly drinks, too!

3 new spots that offer milk tea, coffee, and yogurt drinks

If you’re headed to the mall this weekend for some shopping, check out these cool new spots and take a break with the kids.

I’Milky

One of Taiwan’s most popular milk tea brands, I’Milky (originally Mu Bai), have reached Philippine shores, and you’d be glad to know it uses fresh and natural ingredients, including fresh milk, cane sugar, and honey.

Kids will love Cocoa Milk (Php120), Fresh Strawberry Milk (Php185) or Fresh Taro Milk (Php140) while the adults can enjoy their bestsellers including Natural Brown Sugar Milk (Php120) and Wintermelon Tea Latte (Php110).

Apart from their drinks, you’ll also love hanging out their stores, which looks more like a café than your usual walk-in tea shop. The place certainly looks inviting with its pastel furniture and wood accents.

Koomi

If your family is looking for a healthier alternative to milk tea, then treat yourselves to natural drinking yogurt from Koomi! The Australian brand promises “guiltless goodness” with its mix of yogurt and “sinkers” like grains (purple rice or oats), nuts, and fruits.

Their bestseller is the Stick-On-Me Purple Rice (Php120), a combination of yogurt and purple sticky rice. You can also try Nuts About You (Php135) which is a delightful combination of yogurt, pistachio, and almonds. Yum!

For the kids, a safer choice would be Cookies ‘N Dream (Php125) which contains yogurt and cookies, or Waterberry Wonder (Php135) which has yogurt, watermelon, and strawberry.

If you want to take a breather, their Podium branch has a bar where you can hang out, and they even have a dedicated spot for your selfies!

Koomi is open in The Podium, Robinsons Magnolia, SM Mall of Asia, and Eastwood Mall.

Marks & Spencer Café

If you love Marks & Spencer’s food, then you’d be glad to know they’ve opened a couple of M&S cafés in selected spots around the metro. Their newest branch is at SM Mall of Asia, and it serves freshly-baked pastries and bread, British tea, and hot and iced coffee.

You’d have no problem choosing food for the kids as their labels indicate content like gluten and dairy. They can also enjoy non-caffeinated drinks like the Tropical Mix Smoothie or Superberry Mix Smoothie (Php165 each). You and hubby can enjoy drinks like their iced latte (Php100) or Frappamocha (Php155), but we think you should also try their selection of teas which start at Php65 each.

While you’re there, you can also check out their Christmas collection which can double as gifts! Their Butter Mince Pies (Php375) is a classic favorite, while their Merry Percymas all-butter mini shortbread comes in an adorable pig-shaped container (Php895).
