ICYMI: A Family-Friendly Skate Park Opened In Pasig City

Do you have a young skateboard enthusiast at home, or are you looking for a fun, new activity for your child? The newly opened East Bank Skate Park in Pasig City is the perfect place to get started!

Pasig's first-ever skate park, the East Bank Skate Park, officially opened on February 27. It was launched alongside the Linear Park and TODA Terminal, offering a clean, safe, and exciting environment for outdoor activities for Pasigueños and visitors.

This project is a collaboration between the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Pasig City government, aimed at creating vibrant community spaces for everyone to enjoy.

As a special treat for local skaters and to promote the sport, the MMDA will be donating free skateboards to the Pasig skateboarding community.

What to Expect at the Pasig East Bank Skate Park

Located along the Manggahan Floodway in Barangay Sta. Lucia, the East Bank Skate Park is more than just a spot for skaters. It's also a great destination for families! Designed for relaxation and fun, the park offers a welcoming space where kids can play, families can relax, and everyone can enjoy some fresh air. Plus, the addition of the TODA terminal helps improve order and discipline in the area's tricycle services.

Spanning 3,179.65 square meters, the park boasts a variety of amenities. These include a mini-pavilion, sheltered tricycle terminals, a fenced skate park, clean public restrooms, and umbrella sheds with seating benches. The open space is adorned with ornamental plants, trees, and benches.

For safety, skaters aged five to ten must wear protective gear and helmets, while skaters 11 and older are encouraged to do the same. All visitors are welcome, but children under four should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Note that food and drinks are not allowed inside, so plan your snack breaks accordingly.

Opening Hours and Guidelines
