New "Diet" Method Says You Should Eat MoreIt is founded on the belief that food is never the enemy, and aims for a lifestyle that you can duplicate at home
It’s a fact that the usual mold of diet programs make people lose weight. However, they achieve this through strict calorie counting-based techniques that cut down on food intake. This causes the body to receive less of its needed vitamins and minerals and lead to feelings of deprivation. Yes, these diets can cut down inches from your waistline, but they also strip you off the nutrients as well.
With its mantra “Eat more, live great!”, Baron Method aims to set itself apart from common diet programs by doing the opposite: allowing you to eat what you want and make food work for you.
“Baron Method is not about the quantity but the quality of food. People with health and fitness goals shouldn’t be deprived, because food can be harnessed to create strong and fit bodies. It all boils down to the ingredients and manner of preparation. When you do food right, the Baron Method way, you can eat your way to a healthier lifestyle,” says the program’s proponent, Harvie De Baron.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

To deliver on its promise, what Baron Method does is to “reverse engineer” food by tweaking the ingredients and finding alternatives to unhealthy ones. This way, clients can eat whatever they want without having to worry or feeling guilty. “Food quality is made up of these components: the amount of nutrients, the natural integrity of the food, and the qualitative feeling the body gets. These are what we consider when we recreate your favorite meals.”
Unlike most programs, Baron Method allows its clients to create their own meals so they can control and monitor what they eat. Clients are given a recipe book with over 100 dishes they can easily do at home. All recipes use unprocessed alternatives as ingredients and have specific preparation instructions. For example, Baron Method only recommends olive oil or culinary coconut oil for cooking. For sweeteners, clients are encouraged to use only unprocessed sugars like muscovado, coco sugar, and unfiltered honey.
De Baron shares, “Getting into the program means doing a pantry overhaul, which can be overwhelming. So we help clients by educating them on why certain things aren’t good for them and by teaching them how to read labels so they’ll know what to avoid.”
The change it requires from clients makes Baron Method not just a mere diet but a lifestyle upgrade. It alters the way people think about food so that food becomes an integral step towards living healthily. Through the method, clients report that not only have they lost weight without cutting on food intake, they also have clearer skin, feel more energized, and have a more positive outlook in life.
While it may take some time for people to get the hang of preparing and cooking their own meals at home, De Baron assures that Baron Method is there to help clients with the transition, “Our service is very personalized, so we can customize a program that revolves around your lifestyle. We can tweak it in a way that allows you to do your daily activities while being able to maintain your health and fitness goals. It’s all about getting your schedule and processes down pat. We’re not saying it’s going to be easy, but it is worth it.”
“Food was and never will be the enemy. When you know and when you can control what goes into your food, you can eat whatever you want while attaining your health and fitness goals. Baron Method is about being healthy the proper way –- and that is through quality food that sets you on the path of a doable and sustainable healthy lifestyle,” concludes De Baron.
