1. Senior couple build their dream house by themselves   

At 67-years-old, couple Noel and Estrella Gurrobat were able to build a two-story house with just minimal help. Tatay Noel has a background in construction, having worked abroad as a mason and construction worker. But since it's just the two of them who are mainly working on the home project, it took two years to finish the house. Nonetheless, what this senior couple achieved is impressive! Just look at the finished result.

2. Dream house finally, after 20 years

After spending most time away from his family as an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), Alex Fernandez finally got to work on his dream house for his family.

Achieving their dream house was put on hold as he and his wife Cecil prioritized the studies of their two children. The sacrifice, however, paid off as it was also their kids who helped them turn their dream into reality.

3. Single mom's debt-free house

Starting with only a budget of Php200,000, single mom Wendee Arriesgado got to build her dream house for her three kids without having to get a loan. Her secret for a debt-free house is obvious: "Pagtitipid is key."

Wendee was also hands-on during the entire construction process and oversaw even the procurement of materials just to make sure they will be within budget.

4. Vinegar vendor turned house owner and builder!

He may be a former vinegar seller but Rudolfo "Rudy" Sicat has a sweet success story to share. As told by his son, Rudy used to pushcart and sell vinegar while taking up civil engineering in college. With his perseverance, he became the first licensed civil engineer in their barrio.

After working in different construction companies, Rudy took the leap of faith and started his own construction company, which later on became one of the trusted names in the industry.
As a construction company owner, Rudy also got to build the ultimate dream house for his family.
