Why Jennylyn, Dennis Think A Container House On The Mountain Is Perfect For Their Family

The past couple of months, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have been sharing nothing but good news about their relationship — from getting pregnant to finally tying the knot. And before 2021 ends, they gave fans a sneak peek inside their latest milestone, a new home project!

In the latest episode of their Youtube vlog, Dennis shared that they began the construction of their "mountain hideaway" home seven months ago. For him, the mountains are the "perfect location" to spend time with his "growing family."

He said, "Naisip namin na magiging beneficial samin lahat na dito mag-stay dahil dito sa bundok, presko ang hangin."

Upon arriving at the construction site, you'll see that the house is built using shipping containers. The Kapuso actor shared the two-story home project is already 70 percent complete at the time of filming the vlog.

On the first floor are the kitchen, dining area, living room, and one guest room. Going up to the second floor, the first door leads to the nursery for Jennylyn and Dennis' first baby together. It's a rectangular room with a couple of windows, which bring in an abundance of natural light into the space. (Click here for DIY nursery decor ideas)

Also on the second floor are Jazz and Calix's rooms, the master bedroom, and a view deck, which boasts a breathtaking view full of lush green trees.

Dennis expressed how excited he is to move into their new home, which he said will be a few months from now.

Jennylyn and Dennis have been together for seven years and got married last November 2021. They announced that they are expecting a baby in October 2021, when they shared their pregnancy journey and revealed their initial plan for surrogacy.
