Motherhood Unfiltered: Meet The Smart Parenting Mom Network 2020!These 25 moms want to help us spread the love and energy of our communities to their own.by SmartParenting Staff .
“We have more influence than we realize.”
This quote by author Elizabeth Gilbert is something we love to tell our communities of parents (dads included) who respond in surprise or skepticism. We get it. These days, the loudest voices seem to be celebrities or a well-known personality who get a million views on one social media post.
Don’t underestimate YOUR voice, however, just because you think you only have “a few family members and friends.” Influence isn’t about the number of followers, but it is about the impact you make, no matter how small you think the effect is.
As Gilbert wonderfully puts it, “You have tremendous influence in this world — because your energy has an effect on every single person you encounter throughout life. You have influence over people sometimes even if you don’t speak to them directly; they can still feel your energy, and your energy is a powerful and deeply contagious force.”
At Smart Parenting.com.ph, we see this energy in our communities, the Smart Parenting Village and Parent Chat. We wish the #MomTruth we see in these spaces will go “viral” more often. We want the honesty, generosity, and courage we see among our moms become contagious!
Heeding our call is 25 moms who want to help us spread the love and energy of our communities to their own. We cannot craft stories that reflect what motherhood is today without the parents who share their lives with us! These moms are raring to go to work to find more voices that need to be heard, share their parenthood, offer advice based on their experiences, and represent their #MomTruth.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
