YouTube content creators Lincoln "Cong TV" Velasquez and his wife, Viy Cortez-Velasquez, attended their first-ever GMA Gala on July 20, at the Manila Marriott Hotel.
In an exclusive interview, the Smart Parenting February 2024 cover stars shared life updates after tying the knot in June.

Before heading to the red-carpet event in matching black ensembles, the Team Payaman power couple were not spared from parent duties first. They shared the last thing they did with their firstborn son, Zeus Emmanuel or Kidlat, at home.
"Ako yung nagpatulog sa kanya nap niya nung tanghali," Viy shared. Cong added, "Pinatulog siya para siguradong 'pag umalis kami, hindi niya kami makikita kasi sure na iiyak siya. Kaya yun, maraming salamat Kidlat, nakaattend [kami] ngayon dito sa GMA Gala."
Cong TV, Viy Cortez on married life so far
The couple, who are still on a high after their dream fairytale wedding ceremony, have been together for nine years before getting married in June 2024.

From their social media posts, they went to Japan for their honeymoon and to South Korea for their second honeymoon and to celebrate Kidlat's 3rd birthday.

"Sa isang buwan, puro honeymoon sobrang saya," Viy puts it.
Cong added, "Talagang unli—ang pagmamahal at saka 'yung saya. Ganun talaga, 'pag bagong kasal hanggang mamatay."

The couple said they didn't expect that there will be changes in their relationship after their wedding, but they definitely believe that the ceremony marked a new beginning for them.

"Akala ko nung una since matagal kaming live-in, akala ko walang pinagkaiba, nagkaroon lang ng papel. Pero hindi pala. Kasi after nung kasal, para kaming bagong magjowa. Diba, nagliligawan, nagyayayaang lumabas. Parang magjowa kami ulit." Viy shared.
Cong continued, "Mas matindi. Parang brand-new ulit siya. Parang renewal of vows, parang matagal na tayong kinasal tapos kinasal ulit."

Viy said candidly, "Nanumbalik yung mga kilig parts kasi 9 years kami eh. So medyo asiwa ka na eh. Buti nasalba ng kasal, bumalik lahat!"
Cong then said, "Thank you kay Father Nelson at sa limang paring nagkasal sa amin."
Cong TV, Viy Cortez share parenting milestones
If there's one thing they love about being parents to Kidlat, it's that their son is growing up to be a happy and respectful boy.
"'Yung pagiging masayahin niya, isa yun sa bagay na masayang masaya kaming nakikita lagi sa kanya," said Cong.
Viy added, "And magalang na siya makipag-usap, dati kasi name lang, ngayon meron nang ate at kuya, nagpo-po, nagpi-please."
When asked about their plans on having a second baby, the couple didn't hesitate to share that they are on it. In 2020, Viy suffered from a miscarriage, and had her gall bladder removed before they finally got pregnant with their first child in 2021.
"Under construction [na]," Viy said.
Cong explained, "Ginagawa na po talaga namin siya, lahat ng paraan po. Lahat nung date binibilang mo na."
