In show business, only a few relationships can stand the test of time. Many of them succumb to infidelity, financial woes, or get worn out by trust issues. Thus, staying married is considered a milestone among celebrity couples.
One of those marriages is Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas’s. The couple's love story began on the set of ABS-CBN's "Mara Clara," one of the longest-running daily soaps on local TV, which aired from August 1992 to February 1997. They got married on January 23, 2004, and have been inseparable ever since.
Yesterday, they renewed their vows to mark their 25 years of being together—11 as boyfriend-girlfriend, and 14 in wedded bliss. The celebration was held at Fernwood Gardens in Tagaytay, with many of their family members and friends from the industry joining them. Here are some photos from the event:

Kasi yung mga anak namin [nagtatanong], 'What was it like when you got married?' Curious silang tatlo. So sabi namin, bakit hindi natin gawing malaking selebrasyon kasama ang mga mahal sa buhay na katrabaho at kapamilya?" January 23 also happens to be the birthday of their firstborn Gian Christophe, who turned 12 this year.

During a guesting on ABS-CBN's Magandang Buhay in October, the couple summed up their secret to a lasting marriage: Prayer, patience, and partnership.

Says Gladys, "Kahit na gaano pa kayo katagal na mag-boyfriend o mag-asawa, hinding-hindi dapat nawawala yun" even after becoming parents. Besides Gian Christophe, they have three other kids: Aquisha, Grant, and Gavin Cale, with the youngest having been born only in May last year.
"Ang buhay namin ay hindi na para sa amin, kung hindi para sa mga bata. So bago mo isipin ang sarili ko, isipin mo muna ang mga bata," Christopher said.
Congratulations, Christopher and Gladys!
