ABS-CBN Ball 2019: The Cute Moments That Didn't Happen on the Red Carpet

Last night, September 14, 2019, the only party that mattered was the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball, formerly called the Star Magic Ball, held at the Shangri-La at the Fort. It was good news for Bantay Bata 163, the ball's beneficiary, which hopes to raise funds for its Bantay Edukasyon program this year. (The funds raised at last year's ball rehabilitated and re-launched the Children's Village.)

For the celebrity attendees, it wasn't just a chance to help a good cause but a fun date night with their significant others or with their families! (Check out our highlights here.)

A few of our favoite moments, however, did not happen on the ABS-CBN Ball red carpet.

Pokwang's daughter went for gold but... 

Malia O' Brian, daughter of Pokwang and her husband Lee, had on an exquisite terno in gold. But we only got to see it on Instagram account! The red carpet did start at 7 p.m., most likely past the bedtime of the 1-year-old.

That afternoon, Pokwang already mentioned on her Insta that Malia was giving "attitude" because the toddler was hungry. She did get to eat her salmon and broccoli.

Today's dose of cute: Scarlet Snow Belo and Hunter Pitt 

Celebrities headed to the Belo Baby Suite for some beauty pampering. And look who was there to give everyone an extra happy boost? Our favorite mag-tita, Scarlet Snow Belo and Hunter Pitt!

Cristine Reyes and Amara take twinning seriously

Cristine Reyes brought daughter Amara Khatibi as her date. And the mother-and-daughter couldn't help but do two twinning looks!

Regine Velasquez had a second look

Regine Velasquez was already a vision in black but didn't stop there. She later wore a pink terno by Cocoy Lizaso!

Ogie Alcasid was obviously smitten with wife Regine

The singer posted two photos of him and Regine on his Instagram with the sweetest captions: "Ang ganda talaga ng date ko!!!" and "...escorting the most stunning woman of the night." Awww.

Leila Alcasid's sweet look and message for dad 

Ogie's daughter, Leila Alcasid, was also at the ball (you need to check out her look below) and left a simple but heartwarming comment on this photo Ogie posted: "We love u dad" plus two heart emojis in black.

The actress' take on the modern Filipiniana theme was romantic yet sultry!
