Andi Eigenmann's Island Life and 'Being in the Moment' Makes Her Happy!

Just a few weeks after Andi Eigenmann gave birth to her second daughter, Lilo, on July 23, 2019, she and her family are back in their island home paradise in Siargao, Surigao del Norte, Mindanao.

The mom of two was excited to be back. She believes that being home can help her cope better with postpartum depression (PPD), and it may be working, since Andi seems to be in happier spirits.

Happy first month, Lilo!

Lilo just celebrated her first month of life lounging on the beach, “enjoying the fresh breeze and sunny weather,” Andi wrote on Instagram. The mom of two has been sending good vibes on the Internet by sharing adorable photos of her beautiful and happy baby girl.

Baby Lilo also seems to be cooperating, allowing her mom to catch up on much-needed sleep. “Our little Lilo, for the first time last night, slept for six hours straight, AND put herself to sleep!” the mom of two exclaimed. “How fast time flies. But I have no complaints there! Sana always,” Andi added.

Their two-story island home is taking shape!

The part-time actress, surfer mom, and full-time holistic living island mama also posted a progress update on their spacious two-story home. Andi first shared a peek of its beginnings in February 2019, calling it their “dream house,” and its construction has come a long way since.

The mom of two shared in June that she had kids in mind when she and Philmar were planning their island home. “I wanted a play area and Ellie to have the type of room she wants so that she’d love being there more,” Andi shared with Pep.ph.

Ellie is making new friends!

Philmar wrote that he’s happy Ate Ellie gets to come home with them. Since Andi moved to Baler and then now to Siargao, Ellie has been shuttling from Siargao to Manila. Now, the 7-year-old has settled in Siargao nicely, making friends and “having plans of her own,” according to Andi. She admits it scares her a bit, but knows that this is part of growing up.

“As a parent, I know I have no right to demand that she stay by my side for my comfort’s sake. It’s my job to accept it and let her grow. Besides, it is more than enough consolation to witness her grow into such a wonderful human, and I am just in awe,” she wrote.

Being in the moment keeps Andi happy.
