Andi Manzano Celebrates Baby Shower with the Moms at Fabella HospitalShe also shared with them her tips for caring for babies.by SmartParenting Staff .
TV/radio celebrity and mom Andi Manzano recently celebrated the impending birth of her second baby with a visit to the Dr. Fabella Memorial Hospital to meet moms and their babies in a afternoon of heart-to-heart conversations focused on caring for newborns.
As a second time mom, Andi knows how mothers want to provide the very best of care to their babies, so she wanted to share her blessings by paying it forward and passing along her tips on baby care to the moms at Fabella Hospital.
"I visited Fabella Hospital last week (they say it's the Ground Zero for mothers giving birth in the Philippines--the busiest maternity ward in the country). When you enter the place, it's 3-4 moms per bed with their newborn babies. Hundreds of moms give birth there a day and you'll notice that every ten minutes there's a new mother coming in with a newborn baby," Andi wrote in an instagram post.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The mom of one, who is due to give birth to her second child in January 2019, admitted in her vlog that her first trimester was the most challenging because it brought about dizzy spells and nausea. Now on her third trimester, she has started her nesting phase. Earlier this month, she and husband GP Reyes shared that they are expecting a baby girl in a grand gender reveal party.
While meeting with moms and babies at the hospital, Andi shared specially-created gift packs with the new moms and gave away cases of Pampers to the hospital as well. Dr. Fabella Hospital, located in Sta. Cruz Manila, is regarded as the National Maternity Hospital of the Philippines. The hospital accommodates thousands of mothers from across the country who come seeking affordable and reliable health care.
