Dimples Romana Touched By Surprise Cake From Daughter Callie

One of the most rewarding experiences for parents is witnessing their child succeed and transition into adulthood. Such was the case for actress and mom Dimples Romana, who was surprised with a cake by her firstborn Callie Ahmee to celebrate a milestone.

Using her first-ever salary, Callie bought her family a cake with a dedication that read, "I bought this with my sahod hehe enjoy." The gesture touched Dimples, who wrote an appreciation post to her 20-year-old daughter in return.

"We love you Capt [Callie]! What tremendous joy for parents like us to be remembered still, even when you're far away, living your pilot dreams. You have us, always, in every defeat and victory—big and small. Thank you for making us part of your first sahod celebration," wrote the celebrity mom.

In the Instagram post, Dimples expressed her pride in her daughter's achievements, sharing how Callie's journey began. Callie has been based in Gold Coast, Australia, for years to study aviation.

Dimples shared, "Our Ate [Callie] left about two years ago to study aviation and work her way up to becoming a pilot in Australia. She’s been living abroad on her own, independently for years now. To say we are proud as parents, Ate, would be an understatement."

"I know we don’t say it often. And maybe the calls don’t get our messages right through enough. But know that every day we see you adulting, cooking, driving yourself, doing groceries, studying university, flying planes and still, living a balanced and fun life, already our parental hearts rest easy," she continued.

The actress further praises her eldest daughter, stating how much of a role model she is to her younger brothers, Alonzo and Elio. "Your baby brothers will have much to catch up on, and lots to be proud about having you for a big sister. Thank you for remembering us every day and for sharing this huge milestone with us," Dimples concluded.

Callie is the eldest child of Dimples Romana and Boyet Ahmee. She studied Aviation Management at Southern Cross University in Australia to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot, like her grandfather. In February of this year, Dimples celebrated her daughter Callie's success in becoming a licensed commercial pilot.
