1. Jake Ejercito and daughter Ellie celebrate her 5th birthday together!
The son of former President (now City of Manila Mayor) Joseph Estrada took to Twitter to greet his daughter Ellie Eigenmann on the eve of her birthday. His tweet read: "Happy birthday, my little angel! Daddy loves you xx." Jake also shared an Instagram video that shows how they spent Ellie's pre-birthday night -- with a joy ride. The two popped their heads out of the car's sunroof feeling the cool breeze, and it looked like Ellie had a blast. The video was set with Born's "Seeing Stars" playing in the background. "The ride isn't always gonna be as smooth as we'd want it to be, but just hold tight. Daddy's got you. Happy 5th, my princess!" Jake wrote as caption. The two also watched the musical Annie and celebrated with her cousin Isaiah.
On Ellie's actual birthday yesterday, November 23, she celebrated with her mom Andi and their family. "Happy Birthday my love. Nay nay loves you sooooooo much!" her doting grandmother Jaclyn Jose wrote on Instagram. Happy fifth birthday, Ellie!

Marian, on the other hand, shared a portrait of her and Baby Zia by Mark Padernal, a gift from her husband. "Happy birthday, Anak. Mahal na mahal ka namin ng Tatay mo. Nawa'y lumaki ka na maging isang mabuting tao at mapagmahal sa iyong kapwa," she wrote in the caption. The new mom also marked a year of exclusively breastfeeding the little girl. 4. Watch: a new Karel Marquez and Sean Fariñas pre-wedding video
Like the previous video, poetry shines in the new pre-wedding video of the couple who are set to wed on December 1st. This time, it's Sean's voice you'll hear reading the poem by Tyler Knott Gregson. The passionate words talk about finding true love despite doubt and uncertainty, finding beauty and pursuing it, and facing life's challenges together with the love of your life. The video was done by Treehouse Story, the same video company behind their previous pre-wedding video. Karel and Sean also had another pre-nup shoot by Benjie Tiongco shot in Ilocos, where the couple first met. (cosmo.ph)
5. Separated conjoined twins see each other for the first time
After enduring a combined 27-hour surgery last month to separate and reconstruct their skulls, formerly conjoined twins Jadon and Anais McDonald have seen each other for the first time. They have also marked other firsts, like sleeping in separate beds, and being held individually. Their road to recovery, while very promising and positive, has not been easy, with bouts of infection, fevers, and seizures, particulary for Anais. However, their doctor is optimistic of their recovery which set a new world record for the surgery they had. The boys, now 14 months old, are set to move to rehab shortly after Thanksgiving, about six weeks after the operation. The previous world record for recovery from craniopagus surgery was eight weeks.
