JC Santos, whose most recent project was the Filipino adaptation of the film Miracle in Cell No. 7, is just one month away from becoming a full-fledged dad.
The 31-year-old actor revealed to Pep.ph that he and his non-showbiz girlfriend Shyleena Herrera tied the knot last year, and that they are expecting their first child.
“Eight months, next month na po. Girl,” JC replied about his wife’s due date, and the gender of the baby. “Sana Valentine’s,” he added.

Public photos of Shyleena on her Facebook account hardly show any baby bump, so when friends asked, she replied in the comments, “Pinaanggulo ko sya ng maayos kay JC! Nasa side s’ya kaya pag naka-side lang ako doon kita.” She also confirmed that she is 8 months along and that she is due in late February.
Though he feels nervous about being a first-time father, JC says he sees himself to be the nurturing type. “Gusto kong nag-aalaga, e.”
JC shared in the September 10, 2019 episode of ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay that Shyleena was his high school crush.
“Nakilala ko siya 16 years ago, high school mate ko siya sa Pampanga pa. Nagkita kami ulit, nagpunta ako sa isang restaurant tapos may sarili na siyang restaurant.”
When they reconnected recently, it didn’t take long for him to realize she was the one for him. They got married in September 2019.
