Jennica Garcia Shares News About Her New Home
Jennica shared the exciting news in an interview on MJ Marfori's YouTube channel: "Sobrang saya... Nitong Feb. 15, nakalipat na kami ng mga anak ko. From a studio-type unit, talaga namang naka two-bedroom unit na kami! At hindi dun nagtatapos 'yun. May hagdan!" the actress exclaimed.
The single mom also revealed the story behind their home choice, a loft-type unit: "Pinapapili ko kasi sila. Actually, iba sana 'yung gusto kong unit. Meron kasing three-bedroom na same lang 'yung price ng rent. Pero nung nakita nila 'yung hagdan, sabi nila, ‘Nanay, gusto namin ang may hagdan.’" She quipped, ‘Gusto niyo ng hagdan? Ibigay ang hagdan!’
Following her role in Hello, Love, Again, which went on to become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, Jennica has landed more projects, including the drama TV series Saving Grace, starring Sharon Cuneta and Julia Montes.
Despite her growing list of achievements, when asked how she balances her thriving career with motherhood, she humbly shared, "Pagkatapos nitong promo, kailangan 7:00 PM, nandoon na ako sa school ng mga anak ko kasi may event sila today. So, talagang mag-try lang tayo na mag-juggle. Pero 'wag din silang mabilib [sa 'kin] kasi marami akong help na nakukuha from family and friends."
Jennica also acknowledged the importance of having a village, saying, "You know, it's difficult na nga when you have a partner in life and mayroong kayong mga anak, because that entails taking care of [them]. More so when you're a single mom."
"Pero super important na, yes, nakatutok tayo sa mga anak natin, but we also give importance to the people who are helping us raise our children. Iparamdam din natin sa kanila ang ating appreciation kasi hindi talaga madali ang mag-alaga ng bata," she added.
Jennica has always been open about the struggles of her journey as a single mom. Over the years, she has proudly taken on side hustles, like live selling, where she sells her pre-loved items through platforms like TikTok and Facebook. Admired by netizens for her hard work, many couldn't agree more that she deserves her wins!
