Jon Lucas, Wife Welcome Their 2nd Child: 'The Princess Has Arrived!'

Jon Lucas recently took to Instagram to announce the birth of his and his wife Shy Feras's second child. 

"The Princess has arrived!" the actor said in the caption of his post bearing their baby girl's photo.

"Meet my daughter Brionna Christine Lucas, but you can call her 'BRIA.' Feb 21, 2022 siya pinanganak, ngayon ko lang siya i-popost kasi balak ko talaga noon 2/22/2022, pero hindi na kaya kasi need na talaga niya lumabas para makilala tayo."

Jon went on expressing his gratitude, "Unang una nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoong Diyos kasi naging maayos ang lahat, dininig niyang muli ang gabi-gabi naming pagtawag sakanya."

He then admitted not being around when Baby Bria arrived, and explained why: "Wala man ako sa tabi nila ng mommy niya, gawa ng sitwasyon natin ngayon sa trabaho." He was at the lock-in taping of the GMA-7 drama series, First Lady, which is the continuation of the hit Gabby Concepcion-Sanya Lopez starrer.

Jon pointed out, "Alam ko talaga wala akong dapat na ipag-alala kasi buong puso akong nananalig sa tulong na ibibigay sa amin ng Diyos."

He also honored his wife and mother of his two kids: "Syempre sa mommy niya! I love you! You’re the best! Napakatapang mo lagi, para sa amin na mga mahal mo. Saludo ako sa’yo, at hanggang ngayon ay ipinagpapasalamat ko pa rin sa Diyos na ikaw ang nanay ng mga anak ko."

He added, "Ikaw lang pinakamaganda sa paningin ko," but with a conditin now with the arrival with their baby girl, "Kaso nga ito may kaagaw kana. Napaka ganda rin kasi. Hehe I love you both!"

Back in August 2018, Jon was still member of the Hashtags boy group of ABS-CBN's noontime program, It's Showtime, when he revealed in a TV interview that he and Shy, a dancer at It's Showtime, had been married since October 2017. Their panganay, a boy named Brycen, is now 3 years old and a kuya to Baby Bria.

• Be on-call when she's breastfeeding
• Rock and hold the baby
• Change baby's diapers
• Let her sleep
• Give baby a bath
• Wake up during night-time feedings
• Run errands
• Give her a massage
