You still have a couple of days left to show your child the power of the great Fernando Amorsolo’s realism through their favorite toy!
Project AMORsolo is Cultural Center of the Philippines’ recent exhibit in partnership with PinoyLUG with the backing of the Fernando C. Amorsolo Foundation, Inc.
“This whole exhibit also embodies the vision and mission of CCP, which is to exhibit or showcase excellence, of course, which is in the works of our national artist Fernando Amorsolo," said CCP Vice President Chris B. Millado during the opening as reported by Esquire. "At the same time, it shows participation, innovation, and engagement with more contemporary ways of creativity and expressing art, which is the LEGO mosaic.”

The reimagined paintings using LEGO were chosen because it was reminiscent of “the display of bayanihan during the pandemic, the importance of Filipino women in our society, and the prevalence of foreigners who came to do business in the Philippines.”
Project AMORsolo will run until May 29, 2022 at the CCP’s Bulwagang Carlos V. Francisco (Little Theater Lobby). Exhibit is open from 10AM to 6PM from Tuesday to Sunday.
