Leon Barretto, the only son of actress Marjorie Barretto, gave his mom a special shoutout in his 21st birthday post. He shared a carousel of photos from his birthday shoot and wrote a short but sweet message to thank her.

"I cannot live this world without you, thank you for everything mom, this night meant so much to me," wrote Leon.
Last Tuesday, Marjorie uploaded her heartfelt birthday message to her son, and she's one proud mom for his accomplishments.
"I can't imagine a life without you, Kuya. You are everyone's go-to person. Our gentle giant, the best son, brother, and friend! Thank you for all the hard work you put into school, Kuya. I appreciate how you make everything easier for me. I love you so much. My greatest wish and prayer for you, a bright future, good health and that you will be surrounded with all the right people around you. Cheers to 21!" she captioned her post.

Leon's father, comedian Dennis Padilla, also took to Instagram to share his birthday greeting to his son, to which Leon sincerely responded, "Thank you, Papa." Netizens were delighted to see that Leon seems to have patched things up with his father, given their strained relationship.

Leon, a marketing major from the University of Asia and Pacific, made headlines in June 2022 after speaking up for his older sisters Julia and Claudia through an open letter to call out Dennis for his "public shaming" toward them. But now the siblings seem civil with their dad, as his older sister, actress Julia Barretto, also interacted with their father again earlier this year. Their mom, Marjorie, however, hasn't spoken in public about Dennis.
Leon celebrated his birthday with family and friends, including Gen Z celebrities Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, and Angelina Cruz.
