It Truly Is 'Boom-Tis' Season! LJ Moreno, Jimmy Alapag Expecting Their Fourth Child

The pregnancy announcements keep coming! This time, it’s LJ Moreno and Jimmy Alapag who revealed that they are expecting their fourth child.

The couple shared the “special news” in a vlog uploaded on their YouTube channel yesterday, August 5, 2020, along with the whole family’s reactions. And their three kids, Ian, Keona, and Calen were overjoyed!

In the video, LJ had just taken a pregnancy test and was explaining to her two kids, Ian and Keona, what the test was for. The moment she gets to the meaning of the two lines that appear — “possibly your brother or sister,” Jimmy says — the two kids start screaming and jumping with joy.

Even the kids’ yayas were happy for the couple! “Sabi mo ‘di ka makikiuso,” one of them joked.

The actress admits that this fourth pregnancy came as a shock to her and Jimmy. In the video, she is visibly emotional after telling the kids the result of her pregnancy test. “Mixed emotions,” she shares. “Not that we’re not happy, we’re just… shocked.”

The former Gilas Pilipinas captain agreed with his wife. “I think shocked is the best word but at the end of the day, it’s an absolute blessing so we’re thankful,” he says.

He also shared that the pregnancy was timely because their two older kids had recently been talking about having another baby brother or sister. “Especially Keona — she says it’s unfair because there’s three boys and two girls,” Jimmy says with a laugh, adding in another part of the video that the little girl “spoke it into existence.”

Their eldest, Ian, shares that he’s been praying for a sibling. “Mama, maybe there’s two—one girl, one boy inside your tummy!” he shares.

“Dreams really come true!” Keona exclaims in the video. Aww.

Prior to the announcement, the Alapag family were reported to be contemplating a big move to the U.S. amid the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. But there has been no confirmation from the couple. Jimmy is a native of San Bernardino, California.
