It's 'Boom-tis' Season! 13 Celebrities Who Announced They're Pregnant During Quarantine

Experts predicted that couples stuck together at home 24/7 may either end up fighting or making love all the time. The Philippines now holds the record for the longest quarantine period to date, and it looks like we’re going to have a baby boom in the next few months. 

In two months, we’ve had four celebrities announce that they are anticipating their quarantine babies. So far, here are all the celebrities who announced that they are expecting lockdown babies soon!

Iwa Moto

On Thursday, July 23, Iwa shared a sonogram of her and partner Pampi Lacson’s second child. She didn’t say how far along she’s in the pregnancy, but the new addition to their family will arrive next year. 

“Hello there, little one. We are all excited to meet you,” the preggo mama wrote. “But for now chill ka muna dyan. Magpalaki ka at magpalakas. Wag mo na pahirapan si mommy ha. Love you,” she said. 

Princess Velasco

Princess admitted she cried when she found out she’s pregnant with her third child. “Because we were in the middle of ECQ, and my mama heart plus hormones made me worry about the future, and safety of this baby,” she wrote in her pregnancy announcement on July 6. 

It's also the first time she got pregnant without really trying, "so it was quite a surprise!” Princess exclaimed. The soon-to-be mama of three is currently in her second trimester.  

Maya Flores

Maya and Geoff Eigenmann announced on July 15 that they are expecting their third baby in November 2020. Geoff also stated the obvious that they "adding to the population real quick." The couple has two kids: Arabella, who's 3 in September, and Angus, who just celebrated his first birthday last June.

Ryza Cenon

Ryza surprised everyone when she announced on July 1 that she’s five months pregnant with her partner, cinematographer Miguel Antonio Cruz's, first child. She also admitted to having hair fall during her pregnancy, which is why she’s sporting a super short ‘do. Recently, she shared the sonograph of her baby.

It was a surprise pregnancy, but Ryza is embracing it wholeheartedly. She’s confident that she’s ready to be a mom. The actress thought this would never happen because she has an inverted uterus.

The soon-to-be mama of three recently shared a vlog about her maternity shoot done at Nice Print Photography’s The Concept Studio. Lara stunned in three outfits: a gold robe, a flowy chiffon dress, and a pink gown. She and husband Marco Alcaraz are expecting a third baby boy.

“Super nag-enjoy ako. For the first time in a long time, feeling ko maganda ako ulit,” Lara said. “Yung feeling na nakapag-glam up ako ulit, really felt good,” she added.
