Maternity shoots are a great way for pregnant moms to immortalize the experience of carrying and growing their babies inside their tummies. Many celebrity moms have been sharing beautiful photos of their baby bumps, including TV host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and entrepreneur Divine Lee-Go!
On August 25, 2019, Mariel uploaded a video on her YouTube channel that chronicled her Filipino-Spanish-themed maternity shoot at Museo de Padilla in Quezon City. Her husband Robin Padilla and firstborn daughter Maria Isabella also participated in the shoot.
In the video, Mariel shared she wanted to do a maternity shoot because she considers pregnancy “one of the most beautiful times of my life.”
“Usually kasi, ‘di ba, ‘pag pregnant ka, iisipin mo na, ‘Ay, ang pangit-pangit ko. Ang taba-taba ko na. Ang laki ng ilong ko, may stretch marks ako, ang itim ng leeg ko, ang itim ng kili-kili ko.’ ‘Yun ‘yung mga usual na sinasabi ng mga ibang pregnant women.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
“Pero for me, kasama ‘yun, e, …’yung nakikita mo na lumalaki ‘yung tiyan mo, na medyo nagiging wider ‘yung hips mo, kasama ‘yun doon sa beauty of it.”
She also shared, “It’s not every day na buntis tayo, it’s not every day that we are growing life, nourishing life inside us. It’s so, so special.”
Mariel uploaded some of the stunning photos on her Instagram account. The caption for one of the photos reads, “For me in my 35 years of existence I think this is my most beautiful photograph. The beauty comes from the life that is growing inside me. It is a reminder of how blessed I am with God’s love because once again he has trusted me to nourish His precious creation.”
Happy Folks Studio, the team that shot Mariel’s baby bump photos, also shared some photos from the shoot on their Instagram page.CONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos

In an exclusive interview with SmartParenting.com.ph, Divine shared that she had her eggs frozen when she was 24 years old, though she was single at a time. After her civil wedding to businessman Blake Go in 2017, the couple created embryos with her frozen eggs.
Divine revealed though she was already 35 years old when she got pregnant, she did not experience difficulties carrying her baby to full term because she had made it a point to keep herself healthy.
Now, Divine, Blake, and Baz are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second baby — a girl, also conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), who is expected to be born in October 2019.
