Love At Last! Melissa Ricks Engaged To Non-Showbiz Boyfriend Michael Macatangay

Celebrity mom and vlogger Melissa Ricks, 30, is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Michael Macatangay.

 The happy news was announced by ABS-CBN Star Patroller Gretchen Fullido in her Instagram and Facebook accounts on Saturday evening, August 29, 2020. According to Gretchen, the surprise proposal happened in Batangas.

Gretchen’s post reads, “My dearest @mellyricks09 & Michael Macatangay are engaged!!! The intimate surprise engagement happened in Batangas and witnessed by close family and friends. Love you Nini! Finally! Answered prayer! Thank you, Lord!!!”

In the photos that the TV Patrol showbiz anchor shared, only a selected few were present in the venue. Melissa’s daughter, Kiera Kelly, was also present.

Answered prayer

It was only in late 2019 when Melissa introduced her boyfriend to the public. She also greeted him on his birthday last November 24. In her greeting, she wrote, “Happy Happy Birthday my Love!!! You are my answered prayer.

“Thank you for showing me how love is supposed to be, for taking care of us and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. :)

“I hope and pray that all of your hopes, prayers, and dreams come true, that you find peace, happiness, and success in all you do. Basta ako, I’ll be right beside you.”

Melissa did not name Michael in the post.

Melissa’s last public relationship was also with a non-showbiz guy named Charles Togezaki. He is the father of Melissa’s five-year-old daughter, Kiera.
