Rita Daniela gave birth to her first child on December 22, 2022, or just three days before Christmas.
The actress and singer shared the good news on social media on Christmas Eve. She posted a black-and-white photo of her carrying but vaguely showing her baby boy. She provided her son's name, Juan "Uno" Andres, as well as the birthdate.
Rita addressed her post's caption to Baby Uno: "Hi, my son. You’re the greatest Christmas gift that God has given me. You’re such a blessing to us. Your Tatay and I are so joyful to have you."
She added, "Can’t believe I’m celebrating Christmas this way.. with you."
Back in June, Rita announced her pregnancy on her home network GMA-7's musical program, All Out Sundays. She performed Beyonce's upbeat love ditty, "Love On Top," and then said she's going to have a baby.
Later on, she took to Instagram with a letter addressed to her baby, saying that her pregnancy came "just in time" (read here).
Since then, Rita has been so vocal in saying she's excited to be having a child. She turned up at the GMA Thanksgiving Gala 2022 on July 30 wearing a tight black gown to showed off her growing baby bump and curves (read here).
By September, Rita casually revealed the gender of her baby in an Instagram post.
Three months later, starting on December 12, she shared snaps from her maternity shoot in a series of posts (read here).
