  • It’s been a year and a half since Saab Magalona and husband Jim Bacarro lost their daughter Luna Isabel at birth, but the impact it has made on their lives as a family has not diminished. The singer and social media influencer, who is currently 36 weeks into her second pregnancy, said so in her Instagram post.

“I know I’m presenting big - not all pregnancies look the same - but I’m not having twins again, just a single boy,” Saab wrote, as a caption to a selfie photo.

“I’d like you to know it’s still a trigger to me to hear or see anything about twins so I’m asking for your consideration. Pls stop asking me if I’m having twins again. Thank you so much,” she added.

In February 2018, Saab gave birth prematurely to twins, a boy and a girl, just past the 30-week mark. Only their baby boy, Pancho Gerardo, survived.

This was the reason Saab considered it a milestone to get past her 31st week of her current pregnancy, as she posted on Instagram on July 23.

“I’m now 31 weeks pregnant! I had to deal with so much anxiety nearing my 30 weeks of pregnancy because my traumatic birthing experience the first time around was when my baby girl (Pancho’s twin) lost her heartbeat at 30 weeks and six days,” she wrote.

Saab announced her second pregnancy in April, although they already learned about it two days before Pancho’s birthday in February. In her post, she said she believed the child they had lost has found her way back to them: “Jim and I know in our hearts that our baby has returned to us.”
