For celebrity mom Sarah Lahbati, misunderstandings with her soon-to-be mother-in-law Annabelle Rama are a normal part of their relationship.
During a press conference for Sarah’s wedding to longtime partner Richard Gutierrez next year, she revealed, “There’s no perfect relationship, of course, minsan may tampuhan kami. Pero lahat naman ng tampuhan kahit kanino man ‘yon, pinag-uusapan namin lagi, the next day okay na ulit kami.”
Sarah also shared that she sees Annabelle as her ‘second mom.’
“Para ko na rin siyang mama talaga, second mom ko si tita,” Sarah, mom to six-year-old Zion and one-year-old Kai, said. “It’s normal naman na meron, kung wala naman e hindi totoong relationship po ‘yon.”

Sarah and Richard expressed their gratitude for Annabelle’s hands-on involvement with their wedding plans to help make sure that they get to realize their vision for the occasion.
“We wanna thank my mom kasi sobrang hands-on niya dito, and very good intention siya when it comes to our wedding. ‘Yon talaga ang forte niya,” said Richard.
The couple even mentioned that Annabelle came up with a list of between 30 and 40 pairs of godfathers and godmothers — a huge leap from their original list of only 12 pairs, causing Sarah to jest that there are two brides for the wedding.
MSN Entertainment reports that Sarah and Richard will be opening up about more details on their upcoming nuptials in future appearances on Kapamilya shows.
The longtime pair recently announced that after getting engaged in 2017, they have decided to hold their wedding in March 2020.
