Exciting news for parents in the Queen City of the South: Smart Parenting is coming to Cebu!

Smart Parenting, the Filipino parenting authority, is bringing its relatable stories of parenthood, expert tips and advice, and an online safe space for parents through the Facebook group, Smart Parenting Village, closer to the parents in the South.

Since 2003, Smart Parenting has expanded its audience reach to include not just moms, but also dads, and all types of parenting and family setups. After 21 years of being a trusted friend and ally in raising happy, healthy Filipino families, Smart Parenting is now coming to Cebu’s vibrant parent community.

Smart Parenting Village is a thriving Facebook community of over 106,000 parents nationwide and abroad. This safe space has allowed parents to connect with others on similar parenting journeys, providing support through both joyous and challenging times. As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and Smart Parenting Village has become that village for many, helping alleviate feelings of isolation.

Although online connections are valuable, there’s something special about meeting in person. After the COVID-19 pandemic, Smart Parenting strengthened its parent communities by organizing meet-ups and get-togethers.

Smart Parenting is excited to bring Smart Parenting (SP) Cafe to Cebu City, where parents can gather and talk about parenting things over coffee.

So far, SP Cafe has brought together parents in Metro Manila for different objectives: a Halloween Party, a Focus Group Discussion about diapers, and another on skincare. 

That’s why Smart Parenting is bringing SP Cafe to Cebu City: to reach and connect more intimately with Cebu-based parents, understand your parenting journeys, and know how Smart Parenting can be a better partner. Nothing can beat face-to-face get-togethers—the warm smiles and the endless conversations with other parents. Parents will be able to socialize with one another, gain new friends, enjoy a few hours of productive me-time, and simply have fun with prizes, freebies, and raffle draws!

Smart Parenting Squad Regional Search in Cebu

Another major happening in Cebu is the Smart Parenting Squad Regional Search! For over two years, Smart Parenting brought together moms and dads representing a diverse range of backgrounds and perspectives upholding Smart Parenting’s values of empowerment, community, and inclusivity through its group of parent content creators and influencers.

In May 2024, Smart Parenting launched the Smart Parenting Squad 2024 featuring parents of diverse backgrounds. Some of the parent squad's advocacies include self-care, travel, health and lifestyle, authentic and relatable parenting narratives, mental health, homemaking tips, tipid tips, women empowerment, fitness and wellness, and arts and crafts.

This August, Smart Parenting is set to welcome Cebuano parent ambassadors into its family.
