Solenn Heussaff has been working on it for six months. Just days after launching her new breastfeeding-friendly clothing line made with Elin, she says it's already selling fast!
In her Instagram Stories, the actress says the size small is already sold out and promised that it will be restocked.
On the first of January, Solenn gave birth to daughter Thylane Katana and has since been breastfeeding her. Aside from that, she's also been working from home due to the pandemic. The actress couldn't find clothes that she can wear at home and still be presentable if she needed to hop into a video call.
Addressing her and other nursing mama's needs, Solenn paired up with maternity brand Elin to design "house wear that's super comfortable and still super classy." Of course, she named it after her daughter.
"It's super simple, straightforward, and comfortable," Solenn wrote, as she described Elin.Katana clothing on her blog. The pieces are "presentable in your virtual meetings, allow you to still breastfeed (with easy access), and let you be comfy enough to do housework or like take a nap in."
They're very versatile as well. "The clothes are great if you're breastfeeding, but even if you aren't or aren't anymore, you can still use them," Solenn added. She also made sure to design the clothes and choose materials so pregnant women can also wear them.
Before entering showbiz, Solenn studied fashion design in Paris for three and a half years in college and worked for three years on knitwear for local designer Lulu Tan Gan. So she's right up her alley.
We've also seen Solenn create rugs for the home. Based on her Instagram Stories, she's also working on designs and creating rugs for kids' rooms and furniture! We can't wait!
