Last October 1, 2022, the Social Security System (SSS) started its Saturday schedule at select branches located in shopping malls in the National Capital Region, except for one in Rizal province.
This is in line with the agency's efforts to accommodate its members who can only transact with SSS on weekends, according to its statement sent to the media and posted on Facebook.
The Saturday schedule in the select 12 branches runs until December 31, 2022.
Here's the list:
1. Cubao branch in Quezon City
2. Malabon
3. Novaliches branch, also in Quezon City
4. Paso de Blas in Valenzuela City
5. Antipolo in Rizal province
7. Marikina
8. Ortigas, also in Quezon City
9. Las Piñas
11. Parañaque
12. Taguig
These branches are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for Novaliches and Ortigas which stars office at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m.
The SSS also announcd that 43 of its branches in NCR would start assisting members as early as 7:00 a.m., or an hour earlier than the regular servicing hours.
These branches include the ones located in Quezon City: Batasan Hills, Congressional, Cubao, Deparo, Diliman, Eastwood, Fairview, and San Francisco Del Monte.
In other cities: Kalookan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Paso de Blas, Antipolo, Mandaluyong-Shaw, Marikina, Marikina-Malanday, New Panaderos, Pasig-Mabini, Pasig-Pioneer, Pasig-Rosario, San Juan, Tanay, Binondo, Legarda, Manila, Pasay-Roxas, Pasay-Taft, Sta. Mesa, Tondo, and Welcome.
Also: Alabang-Muntinlupa, Alabang-Zapote, Bicutan Sun Valley, Las Piñas, Makati-Chino Roces, Makati-Gil Puyat, Makati-Guadalupe, Makati-JP Rizal, Parañaque, Parañaque-Tambo, Taguig, and Taguig Gate 3.
The online option is also available. SSS members and their beneficiaries, employers, and pensioners may conduct their transactions through the My.SSS portal on the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph) and the SSS Mobile App.
