Dimples Romana And Her Family Enjoy A Winter Wonderland In Finland!

Dimples Romana and her family are enjoying a well-deserved break in Europe!

Dimples documented the trip on Instagram. The first location they visited was Rovaniemi, Finland.

“This trip has been nothing short of amazing for all of us,” the actress wrote. “Pagkatapos ng matinding trabaho the past years, coming from several teleseryes, jumping from one to the next with only a week to rest and prepare for the next, this vacation is one I’ve been looking forward to having with my family.

“They’ve been so patient and understanding with me and I feel super inspired to come back to work after this.”

The family of four stayed in a gorgeous glass igloo which allowed them to enjoy the aurora borealis (northern lights) from the comfort of their beds. Dimples also shared that the room had an alarm that rang when the aurora borealis happened.

“Another [check] on our family bucket list,” Dimples wrote of this experience.

While in Finland, Dimples, her husband Boyet Ahmee, and two kids Callie and Alonzo, tried out various activities, from frolicking in the snow to ice fishing to sledding.

Being with her family in Finland allowed Dimples to reflect on her life.

“Spending time with my children after a long time working as Dani reminded me of two things,” she shared. “First, how important it is to work hard and love the work that you have. To never take anything for granted. For the work that we do will be rewarded with provision that we can give our family. Love the work that you do and it’ll surely love you back.

“Second, that after working hard, one must never forget to take time to recharge and be with the ones who give meaning to your life. In short, work hard, play hard.”

Watching her daughter Callie, who she and Boyet allowed to drive a separate sled, also taught Dimples the importance of independence, especially now that Callie is about to start college.

“Slowly getting ourselves ready for when Ate @callieahmee leaves for college and studies to become a pilot in Australia next year,” wrote Dimples. “Ang hirap maging magulang!!! You raise your kids, teach them, mold them, in the hopes that one day, they’ll be kind, responsible and [God-fearing] citizens when they’re older.

“Today, we let her drive her own sled. Proud of you, Ate!”

Lastly, one big lesson Dimples shared through her trip is how crucial it is to find a balance between time for work and time for your loved ones.

“Work life balance is super important especially when you work extremely hard,” she wrote.

Now, the family is in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the next leg of their trip, and they sure look like they’re having a lot of fun!
