Disney Adventure Cruise To Set Sail From Singapore In 2025

Finally, a Disney Cruise that's within reach for Southeast Asia is setting sail soon! The business segment Disney Experiences will debut its first Asia-based cruise ship, the Disney Adventure, in 2025.

In partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, the vessel will be based in Singapore and will offer three-night and four-night cruises from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre for five years.

The Disney Adventure, with a gross tonnage of 208,000, is expected to accommodate 6,700 passengers, the largest capacity of any Disney cruise ship so far, along with 2,500 crew members.

Although the dates for the maiden voyage and inaugural season have not been announced yet, Disney has provided more details about the experiences available to guests who will embark on this Asia-based ship.

"We're bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships," said Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Disney Cruise Line in a press release.

"When they set sail on the Disney Adventure, guests will find incredible, immersive areas that bring the worlds of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel to life in ways like never before—and these uniquely Disney experiences will inspire families to reconnect, recharge, and make unforgettable memories that they'll cherish forever," Siskie continued.

Disney Adventure's New Themed Areas

Disney Adventure offers indoor and outdoor activities suitable for all ages. Kids have their dedicated spaces and clubs, while adults can indulge in premium dining options, lounges, and spa experiences.

Onboard, there are seven uniquely themed areas featuring favorite Disney characters and awe-inspiring environments representing imagination (Disney Imagination Garden), discovery (Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, and Wayfinder Bay), fantasy (Town Square), and adventure (Marvel Landing and Toy Story Place).

Inspired by 100 years of iconic Disney adventures, Disney Imagination Garden is the heart of the Disney Adventure. This magical space blends an enchanted valley, a charming garden, and an open-air performance venue, bringing imagination to life in one unforgettable place.

Disney Discovery Reef

At Disney Discovery Reef, families can enjoy shopping and dining in a "celestial-like retreat" that features favorite aquatic characters and nautical stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. This includes characters from The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, and Luca.

San Fransokyo Street

The Big Hero 6 world comes to life in this zone, featuring a lively street market with interactive games, activities, shops, cinemas, and more for family entertainment.

Wayfinder Bay

Overlooking the horizon, "where the sky meets the sea," this open-air oasis invites guests to unwind under the sun with laid-back entertainment. Drawing from the Pacific Island artistry seen in Disney Animation's Moana, this spacious retreat aboard the Disney Adventure offers breathtaking views of both sea and sky.

Town Square

The Town Square will highlight the Disney Princesses in a magical, forest-themed setting. This area will feature shops, lounges, cafés, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Guests can look forward to enchanting experiences inspired by beloved stories like Tangled, Cinderella, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Princess and the Frog, and more.

Marvel Landing

Heroes, assemble at the epic Marvel Landing. This area will feature Avengers-level adventure, with all-new attractions and experiences that showcase imaginative representations of guests' favorite superheroes.

Toy Story Place

Disney Pixar's beloved characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their friends will welcome guests to the animated, interactive playland of Toy Story Place. The world of Pixar's Toy Story films comes to life in unexpected ways, featuring themed dining spots like Pizza Planet and fun water play areas for all to enjoy.
