Elias Is Enjoying Safari 'Familymoon' With Mom Ellen Adarna And Stepdad Derek Ramsay

Three months after officially tying the knot, celebrity couple Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay flew to Africa for their honeymoon, and they have the cutest chaperon in tow—Elias!

The couple is actively sharing updates from their safari 'familymoon' adventures. According to Ellen's post, they flew to Africa last February 24, 2022.

They kicked off their African adventure in Tanzania, where they stayed at The Manor at Ngorongoro. According to a Cosmo.ph article, this accommodation boasts of its proximity to the famed Ngorongoro Crater, "home to an abundant ecosystem of nearly all wildlife that you would wish to see on an African safari."

They soon went for game drives, where they finally got to see animals in the wild. In case you don't have a "safari trip" listed on your bucket list yet, you will after seeing how Ellen and Derek's safari photos.

 

 

After getting up close with the animals, the group also enjoyed the sunny weather as they shared meals in an outdoor safari picnic setting.

As seen on Ellen's most recent Instagram story, the group appeared to be aboard a hot air balloon tour. She tagged the location Serengeti National Park Tanzania in the post.

Derek and Elias' bond

Aside from the awe-inspiring wildlife, photos shared by the celebrity couple also showed how Derek had grown close to Elias, the son of Ellen with actor John Lloyd Cruz.

Derek said he and Ellen really planned to include Elias in their safari honeymoon in a previous interview.

"Gusto namin ma-experience ni Elias yung na-experience namin. Pinag-iisipan namin ni Ellen ito, e, na kung nandun na kami, tapos yung mga makikita namin, iwi-wish siyempre na makita ni Elias iyun."

They also would've loved to bring his teenage son Austin, but unfortunately couldn't because of his studies.

When choosing where to stay, consider a place that's not only near to the tourist sites but also near to grocery areas, pharmacies, and other emergency locations.

"At the end of the day, I realized, it's no longer about me, my itineraries, the foods I want to eat, the places I want to see. It's about her.
