Hong Kong Disneyland Unveils New Marvel and Pixar-Themed Zones
In celebration of its upcoming 20th anniversary, Hong Kong Disneyland has revealed plans for two new themed areas within its 275,000 square-meter park. A Pixar-themed expansion is underway and will be located next to the World of Frozen zone.
The new Pixar-themed area was first revealed to the public through a post on Hong Kong Disneyland's Managing Director, Michael Moriarty's Instagram.
"Magic goes beyond our 20th Anniversary. We're bringing an all-new, exclusive Pixar entertainment experience to HK Disneyland—a first and unique to Hong Kong!" Moriarty captioned.
While details about this highly anticipated addition remain under wraps, one thing is certain: visitors can expect rides featuring some of Pixar's most iconic characters!

A Revamped Marvel Zone
In August last year, an expansion was announced for the park's Marvel zone, which currently features Iron Man and Ant-Man attractions. While the opening date is uncertain, a confirmed detail is that Spider-Man will be a central figure in the new area.

The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will serve as the host, but his presence will draw one of his most dangerous foes, requiring guests to help battle the villain. In the upcoming expansion, visitors can explore the Stark Expo, featuring Iron Man's creations and other cutting-edge technologies from Stark Industries.
While details on the rides and attractions are still to be revealed, new retail shops and eateries are expected to open alongside Spider-Man's adventures once the Marvel zone is fully operational.
