  • We know that moms and dads love Korean BBQ buffets — it’s just so hard to resist unlimited grilled meat! But since most of the Korean restaurants are located indoors, it’s hard to tag the kids along, especially as we have to abide with community quarantine protocols.

If you’re craving the outdoors and samgyupsal, then we might have found the perfect spot: Fresca Farm in Amadeo, Cavite! Dubbed ‘Samgyup sa Farm,’ you can enjoy unlimited Korean BBQ with a view of a bountiful vegetable garden. You can even harvest your own vegetables to take home or lettuce for your samgyup wraps.

In an interview with Summit Original Videos, owners Nico & Nica Buenaventura shared that they ventured into the restaurant business because their farm has always had an oversupply of lettuce.

“Noong time na ‘yun, nahihirapan kami — oversupply ‘yung lettuce. So, imbis na kami ‘yung mag-out, kami ‘yung gumamit nung produce namin,” Nico says.

Despite facing many challenges this year — the Taal volcano eruption and the different typhoons — they experienced a sudden rise in popularity after their restaurant went viral on Tiktok. One of their friends filmed a video while eating in their Amadeo branch and it went viral.

“Starting noon, madami nang pumupunta dito [mula] sa iba’t ibang lugar,” Nica says. They even opened a second branch in Indang, Cavite!

For just Php349 per head, you can enjoy unlimited pork and chicken in their restaurant. Yes, it includes unlimited lettuce! Kids 6 to 10 years old are charged Php299 while children 5 years old and below get to eat free of charge.

Before you go, a reservation is a must. “Prefer po namin magpa-book ‘yung customers a day before para maiwasan namin ‘yung pagka-overcrowded nung place kasi we are still following the social distancing protocols,” Nico shares.
